Seminar Venue

The seminar will be held at lecture hall Pinni A 1081 (30th) and Main Building A3 (31ts). See details from the map.

If you want to use slides, the rooms are equipped with a computer and projector. By default we have support for MS Power Point and PDF slide shows. By request we can also support OpenOffice presentation. It is possible to use your own laptop computer (without network connection).

Getting to Tampere

From Tampere-Pirkkala Airport (TMP)

Tampere-Pirkkala Airport is located about 15 kilometres from the centre of Tampere. There is a bus connection from airport to centre (oneway ticket costs 3,80 euros; can be bought from driver). The taxi fare is about 30 �.

From Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL)

Tampere is 180 kilometres northwest from Helsinki. It is easy and fast to get to Tampere by air, by bus or by train. here are also daily flights between Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL) and Tampere-Pirkkala Airport (TMP), the flight time being 30 minutes. From Helsinki-Vantaa airport there is a frequent and comfortable bus connection to the center of Tampere.
